Re: 2011 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Seemed so long since we had a race properly controlled by Lewis
Re: 2011 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
@virtualstatman: Vettel's 19-race points streak was the 2nd-longest in F1 history, behind Michael Schumacher's 24-race streak from HUN 01-MAS 03.

Sam Michael doesn't look like he belongs there

YES! Finally another win for Lewis, great job from him. One has to wonder if Vettel hadn't had the puncture, would Lewis have been able to challenge him?
Nevertheless, I'm happy with the result...
I wonder if Button's KERS problem was the only reason for him falling back behind Alonso, he just didn't seem to have the overall pace.

He must have been shocked as the team he's working for wins a grand prix now. He must have forgotton how to deal with it.sleenster wrote:Sam Michael doesn't look like he belongs there

15 poles, 11 wins and a dominant title. Retires through no fault of his own. Does he go and cry and get angry?
No, he studies the data, then sits on the pit wall with the team to learn how they operate. Watches the race, comments on it, sat on the pit wall the entire race and then afterwards he went down to Turn 1 to see the kerb for himself.
Measure of a true champion.
