Red Bull track preview with Mark Webber

Codemaster F1 2011 lap

Vettel: India's going to be fast
“By the time we race in India, I’ll have done several laps of the track on the simulator. We’re expecting the track to have the second highest average speed of the season after Monza; that means that we’ll be completing a lap at an average speed of 235 kilometres an hour (146mph), so there should be plenty of good opportunities to overtake.”

Thanks Kevin.

Pirelli will bring the Soft and hard compounds. Narain said the difference between both tyres will be 2 seconds.

Chandhok won't race in India, which leaves Karthikeyan as the sole home representative

I think that's a pity. Trulli is rubbish and has been for quite a while. I doubt it would have made much difference to put Chandhok in for one race, and especially his home GP.

That would have been a dream for him. But he'll participate in FP1 so it's not over for him.

I'm sure if Karthikeyan hadn't got the ooportunity, Lotus would have put him in.
