It's says he must reach parc fermé, so Alonso'll be disqualified.

I'm happy for Vettel's result. I mean all seemed to go horrible wrong for him and he still finished 4th.
But obviously it was his worst performance since Spa 2010.

Re: 2011 German Grand Prix
Was a very good race.
As Ellis said, the DRS was good because - apart from in the case of Schumacher on Petrov - it was not just a free pass like it was in Turkey and Canada. It brought the drivers closer, assisting them down into Turn 1.
With regards to the championship, Vettel still has a 77 point lead. Even if he has 3 retirements, he'll still turn up in Singapore with the lead and thats assuming he has a constant challenger, whether that be Alonso, Webber or Hamilton. So far, that hasn't been the case. He already has 216 points out of a possible 250. There's 225 still avalaible, yet 148 more points will win him the title, irrespective of what anyone else does. Seeing as he isn't going to get a consistent challenger, he only really needs another 75 points or maybe just reach 300 to be safe. He just needs to bring home the points.
Also, rule 43.3 says the car should reach parc ferme. Therefore Vettel might get a few more points anyway, not that I want that to happen because Alonso deserves his result.

Correct, so he'll keep his 2nd place. What can you do about it?Eric_Cartman wrote:He is driving a FerrariJoostLamers wrote:It's says he must reach parc fermé, so Alonso'll be disqualified.

Didn't Lewis stop after the race earlier this year? I don't remember him getting a penalty!

Re: 2011 German Grand Prix
I think Webber did stop once after the race, and he wasn't penalized, he stopped right after the checkered flag!!
And Joost.... please, don't go to Nurburgring anymore, Hamilton will not win if you are there ^^

My bad.
But after Hamilton's incident in Canada few rules were added, but I dont think it will effect Alonso.

Did he stop? I think that was in Australia and he went straight into the pit?Mitsuro Sano wrote:I think Webber did stop once after the race, and he wasn't penalized, he stopped right after the checkered flag!!
