Whats your opinion on the document phil?
Seems that theres quite alot of misonceptions from the media's point....
This document reveals the real situation really
Now Mr. E says Bahrain GP is difficult to happen
he was the first one to defend the GP and now he's against it

I hope the document is correct. its just, the constant dictation from various sources saying completely different things

My opinion?
Gracia does not speak English or Arabic and he was taken around Bahrain by officials of the Crown. So its blatantly biased.

The risk is too high for trouble, this is a bad decision for obvious safety reasons.

For me the fatalities during the protests were the deciding factor. Clearly if the world hadnt been watching and if F1 hadnt been such a big event then the efforts being made towards reconcilliation wouldn't have been so intense IMHO. The early violence is an example of how far they were prepared to go and I am not convinced that any real lessons have been learned yet.

Wut?
But it seems the FIA had overlooked article 66 of its own sporting code, which says that no amendments can be made to the arrangements for a championship after entries open without the agreement of all competitors.
A senior insider described this oversight as "extraordinary".

it will be good decision if they postpone bahrain to last.
the only thing a bit worrying is that indian gp was pushed to december indicating a possibility it might not be ready on time
anyway october is better time, cause higher chance of rain. december could be very foggy in north india

My thoughts exactly. It's a bit worrying how long it took the parties involved to reach a decision which was a no-brainer for everybody else really, but at least they've backed down before too much damage to the sport's image had been done.
That's not the end of it, though: there's going to be a lot of talking about that race being on the 2012 calendar.
