MotoGP 2013

Post by François » 07 Apr 2013, 22:27

Even though Lorenzo dominated the Qatar race from pole, the spotlight was pretty much on Yamaha returnee Valentino Rossi, who staged a formidable fightback after an early mistake to finish second. Honda rookie Marc Marquez has meanwhile confirmed his potential by claiming the remaining podium spot on his debut.

Looks like we're set for a promising 2013. Rossi can definitely win again and take the fight to Lorenzo this season!

Marc Marquez became the youngest rider to win a MotoGP race.

Marquez on pole again for tomorrow's race at Le Mans. Looks like this one is going to be between him and Lorenzo, which is bound to be interesting if you've seen the last race.

Pedrosa 6th and Rossi 8th ie. nowhere.

3rd is a great result, but still four tenths off. He'll be lucky if he doesn't go backwards in the race.

That was a boring race. Glad for the Ducati's to show some great wet pace. Whatever happened with Lorenzo needs to be sorted.

Boring? Get real. There were fierce fights for all three podium positions all the way through (except the lead in the final third of the race), with a few unexpected contenders (Dovi and Cal), Marquez flunking his start and having to fight back from 8th, Lorenzo uncharacteristically going backwards, Rossi looking good then losing it... whatever, I guess.

The problem with many sports now is that people can't accept some laps of quiet. I thought it was an intriguing and exciting race. The only disappointment was that Pedrosa cleared off towards 2/3 distance.

MotoGP has had some truly woeful races in the past, today wasn't one of them.

I've been impressed by Marquez and his riding style reminds me of Stoner so I can see why he was Honda's chosen replacement

I have found this season's moto gp exciting. marc marquez is one really quick rider.
I think the championship will be between jorge, dani, and marc.
