Dear god, what a mistake. Then again, the weather looked a bit extreme. Scary accident nonetheless, glad he walked out unscathed.

First FR3.5 race of the year completed.

Stoffel Vandoorne dominated but he was being caught by Antonio FdC until he got a puncture. Magnussen second.

da Costa wins Race 2, with Magnussen and Vandoorne on the podium.

It's going to be those three all season I reckon.

Yes, he was impressive. I've got my eye on him as well. I think to join the top group he needs to apply his speed with consistency. In 2012 he could be among the top group but then disappear off of the radar in the next round.

If this first weekend was any indication, he seriously needs to work on his qualifying pace.

It's also his third straight season in 3.5. Even though the guy is only 21, he needs to make a name for himself sooner rather than later.
