This is the saddest news I've heard in a while. Horrible accident, words fail me... may Dan rest in peace, he was such a talented and likeable driver, I still can't believe this. :(

Horrific crash that led to his passing.
On a safety aspect, Indycar needs to revise it's safety aspects.
It's a stark reminder of the danger of motorsports.

Just a few posts up I've complained about the ugliness of the 2012 Indycar. After what I had to read today this comment seems just shallow and ignorant to me.
If this new car makes American open-wheel racing just a little bit safer, bring it. Oval racing is just crazy, every few years I have to read news like that, just horrible.

RIP Dan! Terrible news

He has 2 children aswell :(

Very sad sad news for all the racing fans in the world, but I can imagine Phil is probably the saddest of us, cause Dan was a fellow Englishman.

Jenson Button was very sad I've heard, were they mates?
