I also wonder how popular is Pastor Maldonado in Venezuela as he has built his "reputation" in F1.
I am from Indonesia, and basically most people root for Rio Haryanto, especially since he just became a GP2 race winner after 4 years in waiting. He has huge followers, 20 times than last year's champion Jolyon Palmer.
We have two Indonesians in WSbR but they are not as popular as Rio.
Do you guys have a national hero like Ayrton Senna in Brazil in which he made the whole country fell in love with motorsports?
And also, does anyone have GP2 Series video collection? Would like to own every session
