Gran Premio Santander D'Italia 2009
Re: Gran Premio Santander D'Italia 2009 (Monza)
Well I think Legard learnt his lesson today of 'Its not over until its over'
Re: Gran Premio Santander D'Italia 2009 (Monza)
What did Legard say this time then?

I guess it was something like, ".. Down the hill he comes" or "Is this gonna be good enough"sejtur wrote:What did Legard say this time then?

Just before the crash you saw Hamilton OB, going on about: 'Hamilton closing, is there a sting in the tail for Button'. Generally, with about 10 laps to go Legard assumes that the race order is set... at Monaco he was saying how wonderfully Button had driven when we were on about Lap 60sejtur wrote:What did Legard say this time then?

Has it not occured to people that the Force India is just really damn fast (in low-aero spec) possibly the fastest car out there?phil1993 wrote:Just thinking, has Sutil turned into Hamilton and Lewis is in that Force India
I know Fisi has some amazing weekends every now and then, and I'm sure the driver was part of it, but I've got a feeling his Spa performance was down to him having the best car, and this sudden turnaround in Sutil's form, and Liuzzi's amazing return kinda points to the fact that that car is definitely one of the top three, possibly even on a par with the Brawns. You've seen that even slower, worse drivers can give a semblance of being good in top three cars in this modern age.
Not saying GF or AS are slow, but I'm just saying, maybe when they're at the front, it points to that car being really good, in the kind of way that Button could never make much of an impression in bad cars, and suddenly in the Brawn was composed and confident enough to win. Only really good drivers transcend their cars, I mean I haven't even seen Hamilton genuinely do that yet. So Sutil's "giant-killing" antics are impressive given Force India's small size and spending, but it's more down to the team's sterling work in my eyes.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.
