2009 Grosser Preis Santander German Grand Prix
Re: 2009 Grosser Preis Santander German Grand Prix
Rubens Barrichello on what went wrong: "I guess the strategy... it was a good show from the team on how to lose a race today. I'm terribly upset with the way things went. I did all I had to do. I went first on the first corner and then they made me lose the race. If it is really what's going on, we're going to end up losing both championships. I feel sorry for myself, the team. To be very honest, I wish I could get on the plane and go home. I don't want to talk to anyone in the team. It will be all 'bla bla bla' and I don't want to hear that."

Re: 2009 Grosser Preis Santander German Grand Prix
Well, I can understand Rubens. Like in Spain, he stormed to lead and tried to do everything he could, but then the team chooses some bizarre strategy for him so that he loses the race. And once again he was first ahead of Button, actually quite a bit, but then he had to end the race behind him. There's no way he would have won today, but a podium place was possible.

Well all i have to say is i didn't watch the race , but i read all news and live feeds and stuff and watched the highlights of the race how'ever ... Congrats to Mark u deserved it since ages sometimes u were close to pole and sometimes to win but how'ever today was ur day big well done for Vettel for getting the 1-2 for red bull now they're catching Brawn team in both championships ...
Sutil even if he didn't reach points i guess the "Kimi Nightmare" is still arround him lol , i'm not sure what to say more i'm really happy cause Mark won the race been waiting this win since he joined Jaguar ... now as we're in the mid-season i think i'm allowed to go a bit off topic and talk something i would like to see for the upcoming season wether it was F1 or GP1 i would like to see next year Red Bull fighting Ferrari and McLaren alongside other teams remember good old days where Jordan was one of the threat for Mcca and Ferrari ?
Okay so now , when Jenson won the Aussie gp and was performing well everyone eye'd him , later Vettel won the Chinese GP and everyone want to sign him ... now Webber won i wonder how many teams will say "I tried to sign him" or "We want that driver in our seat next season" rofl
I have lots more to say like Force India's performance , Ferrari and McLaren's come back but i guess everyone is saying it so no need to keep repeating the same words ... i smell FI points soon

Andrian Sutil
When I went out of the pitlane I saw Kimi coming on the outside of the corner and I just tried to hold my line but he went to the outside and I touched him and lost part of my front wing.

I can't beleive Sutil's race got ruin again because of Kimi .
Great result for Massa.
Bye bye Sebastien Bourdais, he's definetly out of F1. I heard a litle rumor that Sebastien Loeb might get his first F1 drive .

Re: 2009 Grosser Preis Santander German Grand Prix
well well well...
i feel very bad for Sutil, Kimi never even finished the race anyway so i made noooo difference. apart form the fact Sutil was nearly last. poor kid. Served Raikkonen right though, running him off then he DNF. ha.
and the Hamilton situation. that was such a hope waster. when he was nearly first i was literally standing up cheering, but then he went wide. which made me a tad depressed. if he doesnt do well in Hungary, i think i may cry. or just be verrrryyy sad. Heikki brightened the day by winning a point though, go him!
Webber was fantastic, after the drive-through penalty i didnt reckon he could get back, but he did. it was such a good drive. and a Red Bull 1-2 just finished the day off nicely.
Massa was a surprise third! i realised in the press conference he was a lisp too.
I think Barichello is wrong to say all that c**p about the team. Its understandable to be angry, but at least keep it to himself for the time being. maybe discuss with Ross Brawn instead of announcing it to the world first?

Re: 2009 Grosser Preis Santander German Grand Prix
Quite a nice race even without the rain today.
The Red Bull's are just quicker than any other car.
And it looks to me as the gap between their performance and BrawnGP's is getting bigger.
The responsible of this is probably Adrian Newey's great touch.
Great race by Webber. Even though he got a drive through (fair for the rudeness of the manouvre, not fair because I thought it wasn't that bad for Barrichello) he won comfortably.
Without the penalty, he would have won by more than half a minute.
Very good Vettel as well. He was stuck in traffic (KERS cars, not ordinary cars) but he still managed to get 2nd at the end.
Great work by Massa in 3rd who came there when probably no one was expecting it. Solid.
Shame for Sutil, but his first points of the season will soon come.
Isn't it time to suck Bourdais?
He's always out-qualified and out-raced by the rookie Buemi..

Re: 2009 Grosser Preis Santander German Grand Prix
I'm BACK!
Perfect weekend, very cold and very very windy! Perfect weekend, up til the first corner... That start was extraordinary! Only Webber decided to stop Hamiltons podium chances. I already didn't like him, but now I really hate him, not the fact he hit Hamilton, but the combination of the hit, and all the big talks about Hamilton driving style. At least Hamilton never ruined anyone's race! That's all I want to say about the Aussie.
Will upload (a lot of) photos one of these days
