2009 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix
Re: 2009 FORMULA 1 PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix
Correct me if i am wrong, FIA has changed rule for TYRE size. Does that mean the wet weather tyre will be smaller in front and larger in rear. This will not help in wet..
more rear grip in wet will be trouble i guess..

I hope its rain this weekend
And then, race is more tricky plus excitement.

wet slicks are the same as last year. there are intermediate tyre (in less rain) ans full wet (for heavy rain)Tochi wrote:lol, I clicked on that BBC weather link and saw the heavy rain forecast for all 5 days. Should be one interesting weekend....being a n00b F1 fan, I had been wondering what the wet slick tryes looked like.. are they still slick? I guess I'll see for myself soon enough.
Can't wait!
about the size i am pretty sure they are the same front and rear..

I hope so.
I found this (it's in italian):
http://www.duemotori.com/news/formula1/ ... t_Park.php
It says that both Brawn's cars will be disqualified from Australia due an irregularity in the cars.. and the winner will be Hamilton...

Interesting weather forecast by Califax. Looks like the "real" rain will fall from Sunday till Monday.
So it looks like a wet race. I would very much prefer a dry race, the new rules are great and I didn´t like a single wet race since 2004 or so. It´s usually 2 or 3 guys performing great and running away at the front and all the other guys bottling it big time.
I think the race itself would be more interesting in the dry.

I don't understand that opinion. It means that you prefer look the 2008 malaysian GP with Raikkonen boring domination and not the Silverstone or Brazil GP 2008 with a lot of actions
