Results of 2009 Hungarian GP Predictions

Post by Ali » 26 Jul 2009, 18:33

You can find the Results here

You can find the Leaderboard here

We have three winners of this tenth round, namely e10rice, alex1369 and hannibal_rising with 21 points each. Well done! One of the two runner-ups is otaku1 and the other is f1freak with 20 points each. We have one third place competitor in this round, namely ibonkankunen with 19 point on his/her account. (Let me give you a secret: I forgot ro predict  )

In overall table, now sonofgabe is the leader alone with his 178 points. swca92 dropped to 2nd place with his 175 points, being just three less than the leader. Earth and falstar are tied in points in 3rd and 4th positions respectively with Haukinen is a close fifth. Now, just 6 points separate the top five! What a great league!

Well done for all

Whole List: Here is the winners of this round (I thought we had an accident during the race. Can you confirm me please?):

Wasn't the whole Alonso scenario an accident?

No. In order for an incident to be called as an accident, two cars should be collided such that at least one of them has to either be forced to the pit for an immediate action or be retired from the race. Alonso's incident so is an isolated one.

But I thought what has happened between Vettel and Raikkonen was an accident in the lights of Vettel's post race statement. He claimed that he retired due to the incident with Kimi.

- For the right Accident Prediction you get 2 Points.
That's as much as the rules say.

But yeah, Vettel vs Kimi was an accident because Vettel probably had to retire because of it.

I'd rather win one of these races than hang on to the overall lead. It's like leading the tour de france without ever winning a stage.
