As I walked through it Sunday evening, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the scale of this operation and the thousands of man hours that go into entertaining us for a couple of hours, 17 times a year.
Re: Rate the British Grand Prix (2008)
1-Best Driver
Well I have no choice, do I? :cheezy: Hamilton. But honorary mention to Alonso and Heidfeld, I think they were the only ones who didn't spin or go off track at least once.
2-Best Team
Shared between McLaren who were sly foxes and only changed Hamilton's front tyres in first pitstop and Honda who would have had a good result for Button too if he hadn't messed up. Strategy masters this time!
3-Best overtaking
Heidfeld who did double overtakings twice, once on Kimi & Kova and the other I've forgot who were involved.
4-best Moment
Alonso flying in the first laps. It was like the good old days. Wish they were back again!
5-worst driver
Massa. Well what can you say? Not rainmaster but spinmaster. Frightening innocent rabbits in the process. Though he should have some cred for saving all the spins and being able to continue. :cheezy:
worst team
Ferrari. What were they thinking? OK for making a mistake with the tyres but to NOT call Kimi into the pits again sooner is unforgiveable. Amateur hour indeed.
6-Best Rookie
Piquet, who was fast all weekend and did a decent job until he spun out. Nakajima did even better, bu he's not really a rookie.
7-The most surprising moment
Rubens all of a sudden starting to climb up the field like an unstoppable bulldozer. osweat:

Re: Rate the British Grand Prix (2008)
1-Best Driver: Hamilton
2-Best Team: McLaren (because of their performance) / Honda (because they have the only weather system that works...)
3-Best overtaking: There were severals..It was not easy in the rain, but probably Heidfield taking two places at once was the greatest.
4-best Moment: There were many interesting things... let's say Heidfield overtaking...
5-worst driver & worst team: Massa and Ferrari. The looked as a new team...
6-Best Rookie: Piquet did a good job...
7-The most surprising moment: Kimi's going backwards so quickly... And Ferrari trying to not recognize their mistake ... They should have stopped him sooner...
