Ferrari should told Raikkonen to pit when the rain is started to fell again
they were took a lot of time to think that strategy, they forced Raikkonen to do 10 laps in a worn tyre and in the horrible track condition, at the end that strategy didn't paid off

Poor strategy once again by Ferrari :<>:
it was very bad decision not to change tyres , Maybe they wanted Him to Pass Lewis At the PitLane & His Tyres were doing a Great Job.
I think its the dumbest strageies since williams at monaco 97 starting on slicks.
why Ferrari didn't called kimi to enter to the Pit? They waited Kimi to lose a bit fuel and then they can refuel him to the end with full wets

Well you can have him :cheezy: :cheezy: i don't want him @ Ferrari... i never liked him... not even when he was in Sauber... can't really stand the guy, and now the only thing that's missing is Ferrari signing Alonso, and i'll have 2 drivers i can't stand in my team... these are bad times for me as a Ferrari fan
I don't think i agree with your argument. Massa did a pretty good job in a wet race in Monaco, though he squandered his 2nd place there ... We should all remember that Hamilton, Nelson, Massa, Kubica all have F1 experience of only 2 or 3 years. So we really can't expect them to be breezing around the track everytime. Massa staged a good recovery pattern after DNF in the first 2 races. I just feel that he needs a little more patience and experience to drive a wet race as well as starting in the middle of the pack. All these drivers don't seem to be very good in passing on the entire field, which has always been a strong point with Schumacher & Raikkonen. Look at Hamilton in France, he started 13th ... he messed up. Now look at Massa & Kubica .. They started in the 5th row of the grid and they were completely messed up. Probably the absence of Ross Brawn at Ferrari has left them a void, which they have failed to fill up.

Moreover I don't see how Ferrari would be affected if they have Fernando & Massa in the same team. When Kimi retires they have to sign up someone to replace him. I doubt whether Vettel will fit into that job. They would probably go for an experienced guy like Alonso rather than Vettel. I believe Alonso would beat his team mate hands down as Kimi is right now.

Massa started his F1- career in 2002, hardly a rookie, really. He probably had a bad car under him today, but still... That was just a load of crappy driving, to be honest.

My point was, that i really dislike Alonso, and if it was a Alonso-massa team, it would suck for me as a Ferrari fan...

Oh and massa isn't really a rookie, since he's in f1 from 2002... he has 6 seasons of f1 experience... if that's a rookie, i doubt he will get any better :D

I m back! :P

Hamilton:
Have to agree to Hamilton was Brilliant today! It all started with good start but i think he was just too aggressive at start after passing Heikki (which was normal ...if you think other way please watch today's gp2 race 2 :p ) ..everything was under control ..few laps later was under pressure from kimi but still kept it on track. After close pit stops Ferrari messed up kimi by not changing tires and so it left no real competition to Hamilton except terrific wet conditions ..He had best car and IHMO this was best from him.

Kimi:
Was heavier than Heikki & Webber so qualified rightly and outpaced Hamilton.
First stint condition's were favoring Ferrari after first stop ... gap before stop between hamilton was 0.9sec ..just after three laps in gap was 21.3sec ...you can imagine rest
Stupidly Ferrari kept him out for another 10 laps which moved him back to 11th place ..then started great recovery  race outcome has certainly reasonable.

Massa:
After that crash on Friday .. he never looked comfortable.
Qualifying was f**ked up!
Wet condition + Massa == spins!
Weekend to forget for him & Ferrari!
Massa is still WDC leader (same points but more wins ;) )

Overall:
It was exciting race ... Mclaren were better than Ferrari.
I think its Ferrari who was stepped backward :<>: ... loads of errors!
One can say ..Ferrari gifted win to Hamilton!
PRess C. was torture :nosweat: ... nicks body language on Lewis speech rofl
Awesome drive from quick nick ..quick pass FTW!

There is no point in defining a point... But there is a point in trying -Zack

Hamilton showed a Schumi and Senna like performance today. Full credit to him, I didn´t expect that from him to be honest. Winning a wet race by over a minute is absolutely brilliant.

For Ferrari rain means disappointment these days. I really miss Michael, he would have lapped Kimi and Felipe today in the same car.

I was quite surprised, that Alonso didn´t reach a podium position today. 2 years ago he seemed to be the new rainmaster, but in 2007 and the first half of this season he hasn´t impressed in the rain.

Good to see Rubens still knows how to drive in the rain. He was always a specialist and took the Honda which is probably the second worst car this year to the podium. Great job.

Congratulations to Hamilton! (He was really lucky at start though..)
The way, Massa was driving is unacceptable!
Raikkönen was not lucky but the startegy was bad too. We need Ross Brown back to Ferrari!

Alonso made the same mistake Kimi did, staying with those intermediates, he was running well in 4th before that, and i don`t think the Renault is an easy car in what ever condition. About Rubinho i like to think he worked well with Brawn today running with full wets, i was really surprised why no one did the same when Rubens laptimes started to be quick. The championship has been great we have 4 drivers in 2 points gap, no predictions about wc !

Just got back, haven't had time to read the thread yet but the weekend was amazing. I was sat at Stowe for all of Friday, missed Massa crash, saw Trulli's and a few GP2 spins.
At the start, when Massa spun everyone at Stowe cheered and air horns blasted (including mine :p ). Everyone went bonkers when Hamilton passed Kovalainen even for the next few laps. Everyone on the last lap stood up and the air horns were blasting and then it was even crazier when Lewis crossed the line.
