1-Best Driver - Massa, Trulli
2-Best Team - Ferrari
3-Best Overtaking - Piquet on alonso

5-Worst Driver & Worst Team - Hamilton & BMW

1-Best Driver - Trulli, doubtless.
2-Best Team - Ferrari. What a demolition job! Even with exhaust problems for half a race, still a 1-2 cakewalk.
3-Best Overtaking - Heikki switchback on Webber. Stalwart, and good racecraft.
4-Best Moment - Drive through ( !yahoo: ), Piquet crosses the line for points!
5-Worst Driver & Worst Team - Bourdais or Heidfeld. So far off their team-mates. Renault - poor strategy. McLaren - cos I hate them. Although Heikki's cool. -Note. This is only half-serious, and at this point I was busy hearing on ITV from Ron Dennis, with his continual "I'm not going to say more than that", which so smacked of that old Ferrari International Assistance jibe. McLaren actually had an ok day with Heikki.
6-Best Rookie - Piquet. Even beat the semi-rookies.
7-The Most Surprising Moment - Exhaust problems for Kimi, no rain.

8-Comments - Hamilton overdrove, and had he slowed down and taken the road rather than the green stuff, would he have kept the place? No. He'd have run wide or had to slow so much that he'd have lost a place/places. It doesn't matter that he was slightly ahead on the track, he's still got to keep it on the road, and the only way he could have maintained it was that way. Plus he hit Kovalainen, locked up badly three times behind Piquet and went for gaps that weren't there at 180, when Piquet took a wide line. A thoroughly poor weekend for Lewis.

Great for Piquet. They put him on a good 2-stopper, which they should hve put Alonso on from Quali. The fact that they changed Alonso to a 2 stopper just made it worse for him. 28 laps on the soft tyres? How stupid. No wonder he couldn't keep up with Piquet and Webber with a few laps to go. But at this point, he's probably past caring:
"The backmarker, a Force India, didn't see me and moved to the outside and I moved to the inside to avoid it and I overshot the corner. But one or two points won't change my life," he said.
Yep, if Alonso doesn't mind being beaten by his team-mate, you can tell that he's despairing to the point of apathy at Renault.

I gave this race a 6. It was just fairly dull, with some interest in the grid and with the slight dampness. If it had rained, it would have been three classic GPs in a row in 2008. Since it didn't, it wasn't a classic. But if it had rained, Lewis might have done well. So I'm ok about that.

EDIT: I forgot to laud Heikki! He had a great race. It was in that middle stint, in clean air that he just rocketed away from Piquet and put in the laps to jump Robert. He didn't pass Trulli, but he had a damned good try.

Best driver: Kimi
Best team: Ferrari, without a doubt!
Best overtaking: Hamiltons first move on Alonso
Best moment: Kovalainen-Trulli manouver
Worst driver: Rosberg
Worst team: considering their potential I have to say Williams
Best rookie: Piquet
Most surprising moment: Kimi´s exhaust problem
Comments: I rated 6 was a decent race.
Hamiltons penalty was ok. You have to let the guy through again in that situation and then start another manouver a lap later or so. Cutting the chicane during a fight for position is not allowed.
I think Michael would have been punished for that so it´s ok they punished Lewis.

Best driver: Raikkonen, Trulli
Best team: Ferrari (they could only beat themselfes)
Best overtaking: Kovalainen in the pit against Piquet
Best moment: Fight between Piquet and the McLarens
Worst driver: Heidfeld
Worst team: BMW, Williams and Honda
Best rookie: Piquet
Comments: 4 (very boring race. I think not so boring like Malaysia, but less exciting than Bahrain)

I think Monaco was 10, Montreal and Melbourne 9, Barcelona 7, Istanbul 6, Bahrain 5, Magny Cours 4, Malaysia 3.
Looking forward to Silverstone!

1-Best Driver - Felipe Massa, Heikki Kovalainen & Nelson Piquet
2-Best Team - Toyota
3-Best Overtaking - Hamilton on Alonso ( twice )
4-Best Moment - Hamilton passing Alonso & Nelsinho pushing past Alonso
5-Worst Driver & Worst Team - Nick / BMW
6-Best Rookie - Nelson Piquet
7-The Most Surprising Moment - Trulli on podium ! < How often do we see a toyota on podium >
8-Comments - Good race from Heikki ... Keep going ... !yahoo:
Dreadful race from Alonso. He had started 3rd and should have done everything he can to keep it with him. He left a Toyota to pass him and take third ! And there was no logic behind refuelling him so early to finish ! 28 laps before finish .. Guess Renault were counting on something else ...

But that is completely different, in that the "blocking incident" then wasn't even borderline. But not even that was to aid Ferrari, it was just the stewards getting a bit over-zealous, and Ferrari being bothered enough to "prove" the "block"

Yeah its 2006 Monza in qualifying ...
