For all you lovely spammers...

Post by Super Aguri » 16 Jun 2007, 20:09

Copied and pasted from F1Online Videos as I don't have enough time to type this out again but instead delete all the video spam. Oh joy. Can't thing of anything better to be doing at all.

HUUUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!111!1111!!

I can tell who is here for the videos. If you post "nice pictures" to pictures that are offline and then reach 30 posts and suddenly appear in the Motorsport Videos section chances are the SPAM posts will be deleted. I don't mind as much if you reach 30 posts in intelligent conversation though. And not posting random c**p in non-related threads.

Also please do say thanks for members that post videos this should be limited to Video & Pics Section. A "thanks for the videos" wouldn't kill you.

Your first 10-15 Post should not be one liners or 'thanks'.

I do hope that you stick around to join in the F1 Conversations and don't come online whenever there is a GP on to see some video.

Thank You.

You haven't spammed at all looking through your posts right now. So you have nothing to worry about.

It is just people who make it obvious they are spamming with "nice pics" when there are not even pics on the thread but thought they would post it 5 times over on the same thread that make me slightly angry

I would really like to watch the videos, but I am restraining myself from spamming and taking my time posting on threads I can relate to. My knowledge of F1 isn't that great, so sometimes on the more technical posts I can't really respond to. I just love watching racing in general, and right now its been the tour de france... nothing better then muscle power! ( really exciting stuff if you guys haven't checked it out yet :S: )

Stevo, I appreciate your efforts not to spam the forum.

Also, re Tour de France, I used to watch cycling a lot, Il Giro, La Vuelta and the Tour de France, but I follow it very little since many cyclists are being found positive to drugs. I think that drugs are taking over cycling as a sport. I used to follow Claudio Chiappucci and Pantani a lot, so you can imagine how sad was I when I heard of his death.

No problem!

Yeah, riders on drugs seems to be a big issue for the tour, its very unfortunate. It seems like some countries are very serious about having riders cut down on the use of drugs but only time will tell how that goes. Any death of an icon will definitely add a sad note to anything. Aside from that the racing is so exciting! this is actually the first tour that i've watched religously from the begining. So much strategy and the last couple hundred meters of the race is just a rush to watch.
