Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
That's been the story of this season. Vettel and his car. Webber must be quite frustrated. His teammate winning all the races since the summer, three consecutive titels. And he struggels to get off the line without losing too many places.

Re: Grande Prêmio Petrobras do Brasil 2013
Good choice. They should have done that years ago, as Interlagos got really soaked during a rain shower, with a lot of standing water. Having said that, the 2003 GP was one of the best of that year.

Re: Silly season 2013-14
I really don't care whoever drives the Lotus, as long as it is not Maldonado. But to be honest, I think the other candidates will do just fine. Hulkenberg has shown some great results, while Perez is also a good driver who hasn't got the car to show it.

Re: Rate the 2011 Formula One Season
1. Best race: Montreal 2. Best driver: Alonso. Squeezed the Ferrari to the maximum. 3. Best drive: Schumacher in Canada. 4. Best start: Alonso in Spain. 5. Best rookie: Paul di Resta 6. Biggest surprises: Hamilton having a very disapointing year. 7. Biggest disappointments: Mercedes not making an im...

Re: Japanese Grand Prix 2010
Way too much water. Remember 2004, where quali was delayed to Sunday as well. Schumacher was the first driver to get pole, fastest lap and victory on one day.

Re: How do you think the championship will end up?
It will eighter be Webber or Alonso. They have proved they can deal with the pressure. Button too, but he is too far back I think and not fast enough. Hamilton and Vettel are making mistakes under the pressure. Personally i think Webber is the 2010 world champion.

What about the collision with Webber in Valencia? Trying to defend a car that is four seconds faster.blizzard wrote:L. Hamilton
Monza: Braked too late and damaged his suspension on Massa's rear wheel
And there is a pretty huge error from Kovalainen on my mind, can't figure out where it was at the moment.

Re: F1 2010 Driver errors
Schumacher wasn't at fault in Australia in turn one. I think he was more a victim, trying to avoid the problems.

Re: Gran Premio Santander d'Italia 2010
Button have to keep Alonso's slipstream because without that Button's race would be extremly difficult! By the way, it's weird now to see Button in the front row in Monza with "only" a top speed of 328 kph, while, in the V10 era, Montoya and Raikkonen could easily reach 360-370 kph in the McLaren! ...

Re: Ferrari escape further punishment - WMSC decision
Rembember Brazil 2007. Massa handed the lead to Kimi to win the championship. Logical it seems. But technicly, these were team orders as well. Massa led the race, but handed the victory to Kimi. But nobody had a problem with it. The situation in Germany was more or less the same, exept the champions...

Re: Australia the best, Germany the worst...
I liked Canada and Australia. Bahrain was boring indeed, but so were Silvestone and Valencia, untill the safetycar was deployed. But overall I have to say that the races are good to watch. I'm really looking forward to Belgium. The best circuit of them all.

Re: Schumacher's future
I think he should go on for another year. The car is not good enough at the moment. And it does not fitt his driving. Remeber the car was made for Jenson Button. Their driving styles are quite different. Button likes a car that understeers. Schumacher likes a car that oversteers. Button drives more ...

Schumacher ‘sorry’ about Barrichello push http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-news/240408/schumacher-sorry-about-barrichello-push/ Schumacher should consider retiring and stop embarrassing himself more and more. Amen. Funny, last race, the discussion was about a driver making it too easy to pass. This ti...

I think the move was okay. What did Rubens expect? That Michael would open up the door for him? It's racing. Michael squeezed him extremely, I have to say. But they did not touch and Rubens got through. Great move though, I have to say. So I think it was okay. Michael defended hard, but left him jus...
