Re: The direction of F1
This will probably be my last post here and I am very, very, very sorry for that :( This article indicates that F1 has been led tragically wrong since 2009 and that's why all discussions here have stopped too: F1 has lost one-third of its TV audience since 2008 It's been real pleasure while it laste...

Re: 2015 FORMULA 1 PIRELLI MAGYAR NAGYDÍJ
Also, I don't understand why Grosjean got penalty points added to his tally for... an unsafe release? Is that a driver error now? Agree, another stupid rule that needs to go. A trully interesting race for a change :). Too bad for Kimi though, it was probably the best performance he's had this year,...

Re: The direction of F1
That's not it, Ice, there's not much of a discussion about F1 on FB, Twitter or else anyway. We need to get rid of Bernie and bring new, young blood to revive the sport. It simply became too (excuse my language) f**k**g stupid and boring. You guys have done a phenomenal job here on the forum. There ...

Re: The direction of F1
The continue discussion started in this topic , here's an obvious and simple analysis: Judging by the number of posts posted each year here in the Formula One Grand Prix Season section of the forum, one can clearly see where F1 is going these days. There has been 12.42 posts per race this year appro...

Re: About 2016
Because the way daylight saving time works means they can have the race at 3pm local time, while it'll be 6am in Europe (I believe) due to the way we change the clocks. Having it in March leaves an 11 hour time difference. If that was the reason, they could do it at least on the last Sunday of Marc...

About 2016
2016 season to begin on April 3 because the season opener in Australia will be moved on April 3rd. But what Australian Grand Prix organiser Andrew Westacott said as an explaination just did not make any sense: "The new date will see an earlier start time, and fans can expect the same great on-track...

Re: The direction of F1
Yeah, but other teams had years to build their engines and they tested it all year long during racing weekends. Now they know very well what to improve while Honda is at the start.
Still sounds unfair.
EDIT:
Here's an interesting article which resembles our discussion on this matter

Re: The direction of F1
This man has to go as soon as possible: “I don’t know why people want to get to the so-called ‘young generation’. “Why do they want to do that? Is it to sell them something? Most of these kids haven’t got any money. I’d rather get to the 70-year-old guy who’s got plenty of cash. “So, there’s no poin...

Re: rules ?
Bump for the topic, but I would like to talk about another rule, not the one this topic started with: I'm reading about the "Safety car backmarker plan rejected'' issue, because backmarker cars unlapping themselves takes too long. Even when the unlapping backmarkers rule was introduced, I thought th...
