Young driver test set to kick off

The final test of the 2012 season is to take place in Abu Dhabi this week.

The Yas Marina Circuit will play host to the last of three young driver tests, with Red Bull among six teams to use the circuit.

Williams, Marussia and HRT tested following the British Grand Prix, while Ferrari, Mercedes and Force India elected to run at Magny Cours in September.

GP2 champion Davide Valsecchi and runner up Luiz Razia will be in attendance, as will FR3.5 champion Robin Frijns and Red Bull's highly rated youngster, Antonio Felix da Costa. Sauber will be giving two days to Indian Grand Prix practice participate Esteban Gutierrez, who is a favourite to race for the team in 2013.

  • Toro Rosso: Luiz Razia (Tues, Thurs); Johnny Cecotto Jr (Weds)
  • Caterham: Giedo van der Garde (Tues, Weds); Alexander Rossi (Thurs)
