Mark Webber and Valtteri Bottas have been reprimanded for failing to 'make a significant reduction in speed while double waved yellow flags were displayed in Turn 3' during practice for the Canadian Grand Prix.

The flags were shown at the corner due to Pastor Maldonado's accident, with marshals recovering the Venezuelan's stricken Williams.

Several drivers improved their times due to drying track conditions, although only Webber and Bottas were deemed to have transgressed as the recovery of the Williams took place.

Once a driver receives a third reprimand, they will be given a five place grid penalty for the next event.

Webber's reprimand was his second of the season, having been handed one for colliding with Nico Rosberg in Bahrain.

Bottas's reprimand is his first of the season.
