Max Verstappen continued his strong form by leading the pack on the second and final day of in-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Verstappen clocked a time of 1:23.267 on the Soft tyres to finish 0.739s faster than McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne, with Mercedes' Pascal Wehrlein in third.

Esteban Gutierrez placed fourth for Haas, ahead of Antonio Fuoco, who received a run out as part of his Ferrari development programme.

Toro Rosso gave a full day in the car to Daniil Kvyat and he classified in sixth, before his run was ended prematurely by a suspected engine failure.

Force India development driver Alfonso Celis Jr. received another day of action in Force India's VJM09 and finished seventh quickest.

Renault's Kevin Magnussen trialled the engine upgrades and was eighth, while Felipe Massa placed ninth after running Williams' radical rear wing.

Manor development driver Jordan King completed the runners, via an off-track excursion at Turn 7.
