Toro Rosso driver Max Verstappen says he is content to spend another year with the outfit in order to continue his learning experience in Formula 1.
Verstappen was one of the standout drivers of the 2015 campaign as he finished fourth in Hungary and Austin en-route to 12th in the standings during his rookie season in the sport.
Verstappen will remain with Toro Rosso this year, alongside Carlos Sainz Jr., and believes he can make further progress.
"I think it is good for one more season to learn and understand it even a bit more - to get everything in place," Verstappen, who has been linked with rival teams, told motorsport.com
"I am on a good way because we scored six times in a row points. I think it is very important, because you have a lot of guys who are also very fast, but they are a bit more up and down.
"So I think it is very good to show other teams that you can be very fast and good in overtaking, and be consistent. I think I can be very happy with that."
