The updated version of the Force India VJM08 is likely to be delayed until the British Grand Prix.
Force India had been hoping to bring its major package - the first product of its work in Toyota's Cologne wind tunnel - to the Monaco Grand Prix.
However, that introduction was pushed back to the Austrian Grand Prix due to the typically anomalous nature of races in Monaco and Canada.
But the VJM08 'B spec' car is now set to be introduced at the squad's home race at Silverstone, which takes place in early July.
"We would love to have the package for Barcelona, which didn't happen," said Sergio Perez.
"I think Silverstone will be the first time we have a new package."
Force India is currently eighth in the championship, having amassed 11 points so far in 2015.
