Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed that Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren will participate in this month's test, which will focus solely on wet weather running.

Pirelli has organised the outing at Paul Ricard in France on January 25-26 and has announced that three teams will be in action.

The two-day test will focus solely on the use of Wet tyres, not Intermediates, and several different prototypes will be sampled.

Pirelli has been granted approval by the FIA to conduct extra tyre tests this year after the company requested more track time.

The three teams are anticipated to use their cars from the 2015 season.

Pre-season testing for the upcoming campaign begins at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 22.
