Button heads FP2 for McLaren in Spain

McLaren’s Jenson Button has ended the second practice session at the Circuit de Catalunya fastest, ahead of reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel and the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg. Local hero Fernando Alonso, who topped FP1, failed to finish within the top 10 in the second practice session. Alonso F1's shock leader at soggy Sepang

Fernando Alonso is F1's shock world championship leader, after Malaysian rain shook up the order at Sepang. "It's a tough time for us at the moment, but we will remember this day," said the Ferrari driver, who finished ahead of another surprise podium-sitter, Sauber's Sergio Perez. Schumacher and Button to race each other at ROC

Frankfurt to host 2011 Race Of Champions

The 24th Race Of Champions will be held on the weekend of December 3-4, 2011 at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany. The stadium, one of the settings for football’s 2006 World Cup, will be the second successive German venue to host ROC following last year’s event at Düsseldorf’s ESPRIT arena, Home heroes Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel have become the first drivers to sign up as they bid to win the ROC Nations Cup for a record 5th year in a row.
