UK broadcasters reveal 2014 plans

BBC Sport and Sky Sports have revealed their plans for the 2014 Formula 1 season. Sky Sports will show all 19 Formula 1 races live, while BBC Sport will show nine live, with highlights of the remaining 10 events. Pic admits 2014 Caterham seat not secure

A month ahead of official pre-season testing for 2014, Charles Pic has admitted his future remains far from certain. Gutierrez to secure second Sauber seat

Esteban Gutierrez is set to secure one of the four last race seats on the 2014 grid. Bianca Garloff, the correspondent for the German publication Sport Bild, reported exclusively that Sauber will make the announcement about Adrian Sutil's teammate on Friday. Mercedes reveals sound of 2014 engine

Mercedes has revealed audio of their V6 turbo Formula 1 engine, set to be introduced at the start of next season. The audio recording of the turbocharged V6 unit was conducted using a development engine at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains (HPP) in Brixworth, UK. Caterham team principal Cyril Abiteboul says he is positive about his team's progress ahead of the mid-season break. Pirelli has denied claims it is making major changes to its 2013 tyre design as a result of the pressure applied by world champions Red Bull. New Mercedes boss Wolff starts work on Monday

Mercedes' new recruit Toto Wolff has revealed he will be based at Brackley. A new team shareholder and officially called executive director, 41-year-old Austrian Wolff is in essence replacing Norbert Haug, Mercedes' long-time motor sport vice-president.
