Nico Rosberg secured his third successive pole position in a thrilling qualifying session in Monaco. Rosberg's edged out team-mate Lewis Hamilton by less than a tenth of a second to give Mercedes their second consecutive front row lockout. Sam Bird secured the first GP2 victory for Russian Time after a thrilling finale to the Sprint race in Bahrain.
