Vettel stays on top in second practice

Sebastian Vettel remains the pacesetter in Singapore after topping the time sheets in second practice. Vettel's time of 1:48.340 was three tenths faster than McLaren's Jenson Button. Second practice for the Belgian Grand Prix has been heavily disrupted by heavy rain. There was no track action for the first forty-eight minutes of the session until Nico Rosberg headed out in his Mercedes W03 in order to focus on practice starts. McLaren's Street Struggle

Fifth place for Lewis Hamilton and a DNF for Jenson Button saw McLaren slip further behind Red Bull Racing at the top of the Constructors’ Championship. Jari Matti Latvala is edging towards his first win of the season after extending his lead on a relatively uneventful day in Sweden. Bank problem could spin Virgin off F1 track
