Good qualifying for Toro Rosso

Sainz to join Renault from Austin

Carlos Sainz will join Renault Sport F1 team earlier than planned, already replacing Jolyon Palmer for the United States Grand Prix. Toro Rosso struggled with speed

Sochi wasn’t an easy race weekend for Scuderia Toro Rosso as its drivers only managed to score one point during the Russian Grand Prix, due to lack of speed on the circuit’s long straights and a bad qualifying session on Saturday. Jerez day one: Toro Rosso report

The team put in a lot of work at the factory, making changes to the STR 6 based on data acquired in Valencia and the first day in Jerez would suggest that those changes have delivered signs of progress.
Today was a milestone for a product of the Red Bull Young Driver programme, as Daniel Ricciardo had his first ever drive in a Scuderia Toro Rosso car.
