Mateschitz insists Ricciardo's car was legal

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has insisted that Daniel Ricciardo's RB10 was legal during the Australian Grand Prix. Ricciardo finished in second place in Australia but was excluded from the results after it was deemed that his RB10 had consistently exceeded the fuel flow rate limit of 100kg/hr during the race. Whiting: Red Bull should have followed FIA

Formula 1 race director Charlie Whiting says that Red Bull should have followed the FIA's advice over Daniel Ricciardo's fuel flow rate during the Australian Grand Prix. Ricciardo finished in second place on his Red Bull debut but the stewards discovered that his RB10 had exceeded the 100kg/hr fuel flow rate during the race. Red Bull team principal Christian Horner says that Daniel Ricciardo's car did not contravene regulations during the Australian Grand Prix. Daniel Ricciardo has been disqualified from the results of the Australian Grand Prix. Ricciardo had finished in second place in his first outing for Red Bull but he was referred to the stewards after he consistently exceeded the fuel flow limit of 100kg per hour. Ricciardo under investigation for exceeding fuel flow limit

Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo is under investigation by the stewards after allegedly exceeding the fuel flow limit during the Australian Grand Prix. Ricciardo finished the race in second place but FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer has filed a report which says that Ricciardo 'exceeded constantly the maximum allowed fuel flow of 100 kg/h.' The matter has been referred to the stewards.
