Marciello gets Sauber practice run in Austin

Sauber reserve driver Raffaele Marciello will receive his fourth practice outing for the squad at next weekend's United States Grand Prix. Marciello, who participated in the opening session in Malaysia, Spain and Britain, will pilot the C34-Ferrari during first practice at the Circuit of the Americas. Marciello will replace regular driver Felipe Nasr for the session, before the Brazilian returns for the second practice run later in the day. Ferrari junior Marciello currently occupies eighth position in this year's GP2 Series.

Marciello receives Silverstone practice run

Sauber reserve driver Raffaele Marciello will receive another practice outing with the squad at this weekend's British Grand Prix. Marciello, 20, drove the C34-Ferrari during practice in Malaysia and Spain and has also participated in two test days for the squad. Marciello gets Austria test outing

Ferrari youngster Raffaele Marciello will receive another test outing with Sauber at next week’s running following the Austrian Grand Prix. Marciello, 20, tested for both Ferrari and Sauber in Barcelona last month, having occupied a reserve role with the Swiss team in 2015. Those duties have also enabled Marciello to participate in practice sessions in Malaysia and Spain, alongside his participation in this year’s GP2 Championship. Marciello cops blame for testing accident

Raffaele Marciello accepted responsibility for a testing accident which compromised Sauber's programme at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Wednesday. Marciello, who had tested for Ferrari on the previous day, lost control of the Sauber C34 at Turn 3 early in the day and skated into the gravel, before making light contact with the barriers. Raffaele Marciello says he felt more comfortable in the Sauber C34 as he completed his second Formula 1 practice session at the Spanish Grand Prix.
