Ferrari locks front row in qualifying

Scuderia Ferrari drivers will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from first row after setting the two fastest times in Qualifying on Saturday. Sebastian Vettel's lap of 1:16.276 was the quickest all-time at the Hungaroring and .168 of a second better than runner-up and teammate Kimi Räikkönen. Renault Sport Formula One Team endured a frustrating qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix, with Nico Hülkenberg qualifying thirteenth and Jolyon Palmer 17th for tomorrow’s race. Hamilton tops qualifying session

Lewis Hamilton will start the Spanish Grand Prix from pole position after sweeping all of the top spots in each round of qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:19.149 set a new track qualifying record and was .051 of a second better than runner-up Sebastian Vettel. Sebastian Vettel will start the Russian Grand Prix from pole position after scoring the fastest time during the qualifying session. His fast lap of 1:33.194 set a new track qualifying record and was .059 of a second better than runner-up and teammate Kimi Räikkönen. Alonso expects tough race

Fernando Alonso qualified 15th for the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday as he was unable to fully capitalise on his track time. McLaren driver took the 15th spot in Q1, pushing him through to Q2, but an MGU-H issue on his flying lap meant he was unable to set a time during the second session.
