Renault Sport Formula One Team ended the first day of practice for the Grand Prix du Canada just shy of the top ten with Nico Hülkenberg posting the twelfth fastest time of the day, a 1min 14.604secs. Renault moves up to seventh in standings

Renault Sport F1 Team secured its best-ever finishing position of sixth place thanks to a strong drive from Nico Hülkenberg in the Spanish Grand Prix. The German made a good start from thirteenth to seventh, managing a further position up untill the end of the race. Hülkenberg’s finish is one place better than the team’s previous best, seventh, scored by Kevin Magnussen in last year’s Russian Grand Prix. Renault Sport Formula One Team secured its second points-scoring finish of 2017 with a robust eighth place from Nico Hülkenberg in the Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Autodrom. Renault Sport Formula One Team endured a frustrating Chinese Grand Prix with Nico Hülkenberg finishing 12th and Jolyon Palmer finishing 13th after an eventful 56 lap race at the Shanghai International Circuit. Renault Sport Formula One Team completed the first official practice sessions of the 2017 season with Nico Hülkenberg and Jolyon Palmer taking the RS17 out on the Albert Park Circuit on Friday.
