Vettel handed grid penalty for Japan

Sebastian Vettel has been handed a three-place grid penalty for next weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix for the first-corner collision with Nico Rosberg in Malaysia. Ferrari driver was fighting for position with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen when locked up and tagged Rosberg into a spin that sent the Mercedes driver at the back of the grid. Pirelli to bring hardest compounds to Malaysia

Formula 1's tyre supplier, Pirelli, has announced that it will bring the three hardest compounds from its range to the Malaysian Grand Prix in October. The Soft, Medium and Hard tyres will be used when Formula 1 returns to a resurfaced Sepang circuit later this year. Sepang has traditionally been the second or third round of the campaign but has switched to a late season date in 2016. Pirelli has confirmed that the orange-banded Hard tyre must be used for one stint of the race.
