Vettel pleased with Monza podium

Sebastian Vettel scored a podium finish at his team’s home race in Monza for the second successive year on Sunday. With this result he ended Ferrari's run of four races without a top-three finish and is now positive that the Italian squad will come back to a better form in the future. Rosberg beats Hamilton to Monza victory

Nico Rosberg capitalised on a disastrous start for team-mate Lewis Hamilton to take a comfortable win at the Italian Grand Prix and slash his team-mate's championship lead to just two points. Rosberg charged into the lead as Hamilton suffered a poor getaway and fell to sixth, and he ultimately went unchallenged en route to a second consecutive victory. Hamilton heads Rosberg in FP2 at Monza

Lewis Hamilton snatched the advantage heading into the Italian GP weekend by topping second practice ahead of Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton registered a 1:22.801 on the supersoft tyres to set the pace by just under two tenths of a second on a scorching afternoon at Monza. Rosberg leads Hamilton in Monza FP1

Nico Rosberg edged out Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton to set the pace in the opening practice session ahead of the Italian GP at Monza. The duo traded top spot throughout the first half of the session, but it was Rosberg who wound up fastest courtesy of an impressive 1:22.959, two tenths quicker than 2015 Monza winner Hamilton could manage. Kevin Magnussen is confident he will be allowed to race in the Italian Grand Prix this weekend as he feels already recovered from the nasty crash at Spa-Francorchamps last Sunday. Monza 'very close' to new F1 deal

The President of the Automobile Club d'Italia says Monza is "very close" to extending its deal to remain on the Formula 1 calendar. Monza has hosted the Italian Grand Prix for all bar one year since Formula 1's foundation in 1950 but its current contract expires at the end of 2016. Wolff adamant Mercedes would never risk safety

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says that the team would never risk the safety of its drivers after its tyre pressures were discovered to be too low prior to the Italian Grand Prix. Mercedes was reported to the stewards post-race after the technical delegate recorded the left rear tyre as 0.3 PSI below the 19.5 PSI limit on Lewis Hamilton's car and 1.1 underneath on Nico Rosberg's car, when measured on the grid. Force India's Sergio Perez expressed his happiness with the squad's performance across the Italian Grand Prix weekend as it moved back into fifth position in the Constructors' championship.
