Pic joins Campos for GP2 season

Arthur Pic will make his GP2 debut this year for series returnees Campos Racing. Pic, younger brother of F1 racer Charles, has spent three seasons in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and finished in eighth place last year. Pic tested for ART in Abu Dhabi at the end of 2013 but will race for Campos. FIA confirms official 2014 F1 calendar

Races in New Jersey, Mexico and South Korea were dropped from Formula One's official 2014 calendar on Wednesday, with the season remaining at 19 races instead of a record 22. All three grands prix had been listed provisionally, with asterisks against them, on a previous calendar published in September by the sport's governing International Automobile Federation (FIA). Vettel secures pole position in delayed Brazilian GP qualifying

Sebastian Vettel stormed to pole position in wet conditions during qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix. The world champion set a lap time of 1:26.479 to finish six tenths of a second faster than Mercedes's Nico Rosberg. Fernando Alonso was third for Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel secured his record breaking eighth successive victory after strolling to the win at the United States Grand Prix. Vettel led from start to finish to beat Romain Grosjean and Mark Webber, claiming his 12th victory of the season. Ferrari protege Raffaele Marciello will participate in this week's end of season GP2 tests at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Marciello, who won the Formula Three European Championship this year, will test for Racing Engineering and Trident.
