Jerez Day 2: Report from the paddock

It was a chilly day in Jerez today. There was not a single cloud to be seen in the sky, and the strong winds prevented the sun's rays from warming the track. Lotus report: Raikkonen's pre-test with the E20

Lotus F1 Team’s 2012 challenger, the E20, has taken to the track for the first time for filming purposes at Jerez ahead of this week’s four-day test. 2007 Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen took the wheel for 22 laps of the Circuito de Jerez today in the E20 with which he will contest the 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The Lotus F1 Team unveiled their 2012 challenger, called the E20, for the second time at the Jerez circuit today. The team launched the E20 for the first time yesterday at 1700 CET via their website. After the launch at Jerez, Kimi Raikkonen took the E20 to the track for some demonstration runs ahead of the start of winter testing on Tuesday.
