Kvyat set for Red Bull 2016 stay

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner says Daniil Kvyat will remain with the squad into 2016, assuming the outfit wraps up an engine deal for next season. Daniel Ricciardo reckons Red Bull had a shot at finishing on the podium at the Mexican Grand Prix, before ultimately missing out to Williams' Valtteri Bottas. Daniil Kvyat occupied third for much of the race but the field was bunched up behind the Safety Car during the closing stages and the Russian was unable to prevent Bottas from cruising past. Daniil Kvyat expressed his disappointment after crashing out of the United States Grand Prix, believing that he could have fought for victory had conditions remained wet.
