Pic joins Campos for GP2 season

Arthur Pic will make his GP2 debut this year for series returnees Campos Racing. Pic, younger brother of F1 racer Charles, has spent three seasons in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and finished in eighth place last year. Pic tested for ART in Abu Dhabi at the end of 2013 but will race for Campos. Red Bull sign Lynn; Sainz to FR3.5

Red Bull has confirmed that Alex Lynn has joined their junior team after announcing that just three drivers will be part of the roster in 2014. Lynn spent 2013 racing in the Formula 3 European Championship, where he finished in third place. Lynn capped off his 2013 campaign with victory in the prestigious Macau Grand Prix. Boullier sure Lotus can fine tune new recruit Maldonado

Lotus team principal Eric Boullier believes that his squad can improve Pastor Maldonado's focus ahead of the Venezuelan's move to the team for 2014. Maldonado will race for the Enstone based team next year after three seasons with Williams. Ferrari protege Raffaele Marciello will participate in this week's end of season GP2 tests at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Marciello, who won the Formula Three European Championship this year, will test for Racing Engineering and Trident. Magnussen on brink of title after dominant performance

Kevin Magnussen dominated the penultimate round of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Paul Ricard in France to stand on the brink of the title. Magnussen, part of McLaren's young driver scheme, secured both pole positions and stormed to victories in the two races. But a technical infringement on his DAMS car meant that he was excluded from the results. DAMS intends to appeal the disqualification. Leimer eases to victory in Bahrain

Fabio Leimer took victory after dominating the GP2 Feature race in Bahrain. Leimer led from pole position and maintained a comfortable gap throughout the race to Stefano Coletti. Rapax's Stefano Coletti has taken the early lead in the GP2 championship after setting the fastest time in qualifying in Malaysia.
