Abiteboul encouraged by Caterham's progress

Caterham team principal Cyril Abiteboul says he is positive about his team's progress ahead of the mid-season break. Caterham prop up the Constructors' Championship but has recently made progress, with Giedo van der Garde finishing in fourteenth place in Hungary. Allison to join Ferrari in September

Ferrari has confirmed that James Allison will join the team from September 1st. Allison left his position as Lotus technical director earlier this season and was linked with several teams. He joins Ferrari as their 'chassis technical director'. As part of the deal, Pat Fry now becomes director of engineering at the team. Williams celebrates 600 races at the British Grand Prix

The Williams F1 Team is celebrating a landmark achievement this weekend at the British Grand Prix - reaching 600 races in Formula One. Marussia has unveiled their 2013 challenger in Jerez. The MR02 will be raced by Max Chilton and a yet to be named second driver. Marussia finished eleventh in 2012, ahead only of the now defunct HRT.
