Albers praises 'extraordinary' Lotterer

Caterham team principal Christijan Albers has praised the progress made by rookie Andre Lotterer during his first day in the car at Spa Francorchamps. Lotterer was drafted in by Caterham to replace Kamui Kobayashi for this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, marking the first time the German has driven a Formula 1 car in over a decade, in order to aid the team with their large upgrade package. Caterham confirms sale of team

Caterham has confirmed that Tony Fernandes and his partners have sold the team to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, advised by former Formula 1 team principal Colin Kolles. Fernandes formed Lotus Racing - which morphed into Caterham - at the start of 2010 but has now departed the set-up, along with team principal Cyril Abiteboul.
