Leclerc hails 'amazing' Haas debut run

Charles Leclerc hailed an "amazing" experience as he competed in the first practice session with Haas at the British Grand Prix. Leclerc, who currently leads the GP3 standings, is a member of Ferrari's young driver scheme and has been loaned out to Haas as its development driver. Leclerc gets Haas practice outings

Haas has confirmed that Ferrari young driver Charles Leclerc will make his Formula 1 debut during the British Grand Prix weekend, when he drives during the first free practice session. Leclerc, 18, has linked up with Haas to rack up Formula 1 experience alongside his campaign in the GP3 Series. Leclerc becomes Ferrari/Haas youngster

Ferrari has confirmed that GP3 racer Charles Leclerc will join the outfit's academy and act as a development driver for both the Maranello-based outfit and newcomers Haas. Leclerc finished fourth in European F3 last year and will make his GP3 debut with ART this year, which guided Mercedes/Renault young gun Esteban Ocon to the title in 2015.
