Toro Rosso sure of quicker pace

Toro Rosso duo Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Jr are sure of a strong weekend for the squad despite finishing outside of the top 10 positions during second practice for the Chinese Grand Prix. Toro Rosso rookie Carlos Sainz Jr. says he is encouraged by the extensive upgrade package which the team has brought to the final pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Carlos Sainz Jr. was left to rue an error at Turn 9 during the afternoon session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which scuppered his race simulation for Toro Rosso. Carlos Sainz Jr will test for Red Bull in Abu Dhabi as his prize for winning this year's Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
