Lopez tips Raikkonen to agree new deal 'quickly'

Team owner Gerard Lopez is hopeful Kimi Raikkonen will soon sign a new deal to stay at Lotus in 2014. As a weekend of fever-pitch speculation nears an end, the Finnish driver's manager Steve Robertson has now clearly denied rumours Raikkonen has inked a Ferrari contract. Toro Rosso duo frustrated by wrong calls

Toro Rosso duo Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo were left frustrated after failing to make it through to Q2 in Belgium. Vettel fastest during final practice

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time during final practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. Vettel's time of 1:48.327 was set during the final five minutes of the session at a cloudy Spa Francorchamps. Trackside in FP3: Analysis Vettel eclipsed Fernando Alonso by 0.105s, with Mark Webber a further tenth back in third. Force India no longer developing 2013 car

Force India chief operating officer Otmar Szafnauer says his team is no longer developing the VJM06, ahead of this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix. Force India is currently in fifth place in the championship but Szafnauer admits that the team does not have the resources to run parallel programmes effectively. Sirotkin signs 2014 Sauber race contract

Sergey Sirotkin has finally signed a real contract to race a Sauber in 2014. Before the Russian teen's visit to Hinwil this week, Sirotkin's race seat was a mere ambition as part of the Russian rescue deal. But Austria's Osterreich newspaper reports that a real contract has been signed now. Perez confident of improvements in Belgium

Kovalainen set for free practice runs

Heikki Kovalainen is set to take part in practice for Caterham in Belgium and Italy. The Finn raced for the Leafield based team for three years but lost his seat at the end of 2012.
