Daniel Ricciardo has revealed that he was only informed of his 2014 seat at Red Bull on the Wednesday after the Belgian Grand Prix. Mexico set for Formula 1 return in 2014

The Mexican Grand Prix is set to return for the first time in over two decades next season. The race has not been held since 1992 but is scheduled to take place on November 9th next year after teams were given a copy of the provisional 2014 calendar ahead of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. Calado joins Force India as reserve driver

British driver James Calado has joined Force India as their reserve driver. Calado, 24, is currently in fifth place in this season's GP2 championship and recently won the sprint race in Belgium. Calado also drove for Force India during the young drivers test at Silverstone. He will continue to race in GP2 and will also drive in first practice for Force India in Italy. Disappointed Maldonado blames Sutil for crash

Pastor Maldonado has blamed Adrian Sutil for a collision that resulted in the retirement of Paul di Resta. Maldonado and Sutil made contact at the Bus Stop chicane and the Williams driver hit di Resta, causing the retirement of the latter. Maldonado was subsequently handed a stop and go penalty.
