Massa criticises Kobayashi after crash

Felipe Massa has criticised Kamui Kobayashi after the pair crashed at the start of the Australian Grand Prix. Kobayashi locked up his brakes into the first corner and struck Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari and Massa's Williams, causing terminal damage to the FW36. Nico Rosberg won the season-opening Australian Grand Prix after pole sitter Lewis Hamilton was forced to retire. Australian Grand Prix stewards have cleared three drivers who were summoned to answer calls over alleged transgressions. Kevin Magnussen and Sebastian Vettel were summoned after allegedly failing to slow for yellow flags while Fernando Alonso was questioned for impeding. Maldonado cleared to start race

Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado has been permitted to start Sunday's Australian Grand Prix. Maldonado has endured a torrid time in Australia and failed to set a time during qualifying. The Venezuelan driver took to the circuit late on in Q1 after issues with his Renault power unit and ran wide on several occasions, before rain put paid to his efforts. He failed to set a time but will start from 21st place after a penalty for Esteban Gutierrez.
