Annex 1 Track Modification IllustrationOrganisers of the Singapore Grand Prix have announced that changes will be made to a section of the Marina Bay Street Circuit ahead of this year's race.

The changes affect the section of circuit between Turns 11 and 13, the section of track between the Singapore Sling and Esplanade Drive.

Turn 11 will remain a right hander, but drivers will kink left on approach in order to switch onto the left hand side of Fullerton Road.

Turn 12 has been tightened as drivers will now utilise the other side of the Anderson Bridge, before approaching Turn 13, which has been widened by a metre in a bid to increase overtaking opportunities.

The changes have been approved by the FIA ahead of the race, which takes place in September.
