Jul.6 (GMM) Sunday's British grand prix is a sellout.

Organisers of the Silverstone event have confirmed that while tickets for Friday and Saturday are still available, the maximum capacity of more than 120,000 spectators has been reached for race-day.

"We expect this year's grand prix to attract one of the biggest three-day crowds in the event's history," said circuit managing director Richard Phillips.

He said nearly 90,000 will attend the upgraded Northamptonshire venue on Friday, and more than 100,000 on qualifying day.
