Michael Schumacher has sent out a message to rivals during the second day of testing at Jerez, with the German beginning to answer the questions posed over the potential of his new MGP W02 challenger. After completing 112 laps of the Spanish circuit, Schumacher finished the day fractions quicker than former Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa.

There were two major incidents today. Sergio Perez crashed at Turn 8 causing minor damage to the front of the C30, whilst Pastor Maldonado had a high speed crash at Turn 4 around half an hour later.
