Felipe Nasr says Sauber must find a solution for his braking issues as he was again plagued by problems during the Austrian Grand Prix.
Nasr voiced his lack of confidence with an adapted braking approach in Monaco and Canada and the Brazilian was hampered by issues in Austria, leading to his 11th place finish.
"I am disappointed with the result," he said. "I struggled a lot with overheating brakes. I was not able to brake properly, therefore it was difficult to defend my position. Looking back from where we started, we expected to be in the points , and I did everything I could to make it happen.
"We need to find a solution, as we cannot lose such opportunities."
Team principal Monisha Kaltenborn believes Sauber should have claimed points in Austria.
"[It was] a very disappointing race because we had chances to score points when looking at our grid positions," she said.
"Felipe had huge difficulties with the brakes, which compromised his race pace, so he was not able to keep hold of his position. We now need to find a solution for these issues."
